[ Unité d'Habitation ] 유니테 다비타시옹 / 2

옥상가는 길이다. 숙소를 떠나기 전 새벽에 혼자 올라가 또 볼 정도로 옥상이 정말 좋았다.

I'm on my way to the rooftop. The rooftop was so nice that I went up and saw it again at dawn before leaving the accommodation.

르 코르뷔지에의 새로운 건축의 5형식 중 하나로 주장한 옥상정원에서 내려다 보이는 지중해의 풍경은 정말 멋있었다.  너무 감동을 받아 떠나기 직전까지 와서 볼 정도였으니까 말이다. 옥상정원은 원래 외부인의 출입이 불가능하다고 한다. 에어비앤비 주인분께서 열쇠를 빌려주셔서 가 볼 수 있었다. 옥상정원에 대한 기대가 크지 않은 상태에서 엘레베이터를 타고 문을 탁 여는 순간 마주치는 지중해 풍경은 감동 그 자체였다. 옥상정원을 둘러싼 담은 172cm 인 내 키로도 잘 보이지 않는다. ( 옆에 무언가 밟고 제대로 봤던 거 같다. ) 르 코르뷔지에의 모듈러 기본단위인 183cm 를 기준으로 했을 때 딱 눈높이를 맞춰 담 높이를 정한 것일까? 라는 생각이 지금 든다...

The view of the Mediterranean overlooking the rooftop garden, which Le Corbusier claimed to be one of the five new types of architecture, was stunning.  I was so moved that I came to see her right before I left. It is said that outsiders are not allowed to enter the rooftop garden. The Airbnb owner lent me the key so I could go there. The Mediterranean scenery encountered as soon as I opened the door in the elevator without high expectations for the rooftop garden was touching. The wall surrounding the rooftop garden is not visible even with my height of 172cm. (I think I stepped on something next to it and saw it right. Based on Le Corbusier's basic modular unit of 183cm, did the wall be set at eye level? Now I think that...

거대한 높이의 지상 필로티. 지금은 주차장으로 많이 사용하고 있는 모습이었다.

너무 좋았던 유니테 다비타시옹에서의 숙박이었고 값진 경험을 했다.  

It was a great stay at Unite Davitasion and a valuable experience.
